Krabi Town Guesthouses
To numerous to list here, but most of them are all located in the downtown Krabi area or on Choa Fa Road.   All within walking distance of shops and bars.  There are also many guesthouses sprouting up on the outer perimeters of Krabitown that offer more features but cheaper rates. We recommend the Green Tea and Good Dream for cheap rates & good location. And, Chan Cha Lay Guesthouse as the most comfortable.

Ao Nang Guesthouses
There are a guesthouse style 'hotels' 2-3km up the main beach front road. Guesthouse rates are double or triple that found in Krabitown for same standard/quality.  As they say, "location, location, location" ... the near you are to sand expect to pay more.

Koh Lanta Guesthouses
Located in the Village. Mostly dives and pointless to stay at because they are located no where near the beaches of Koh Lanta. All other budget accomodations on Koh Lanta are Bungalows or sustandard Resorts.  Recent construction boom has lead to the construction of 'container' buildings further down the main road and many of these new tenets operate a guesthouse.  Prices are double or triple that found in Krabitown for same standard/quality.

Phi Phi Island Guesthouses
Guesthouses on Koh Phi Phi then to be people that have a few spare rooms in thier shop avalible to rent. Quality tends tends be poor, but the price is right considering the limited amount of budget rooms on Phi Phi Island. Most of the cheap 'guesthouse' type rooms where lost in the 2004 Tsunami ... the few that survived are inside the developed area ... nearer the Tonsai village areas.
